About the project
Motorized Frog Squad is an anti-war film that, alongside its timeless theme of futile warfare, destruction, suffering, and war profiteering, also addresses modern-day issues such as mass media, artificial intelligence, and algorithms that dictate what we watch, read, listen to, and like.
Set in a dystopian universe, the story unfolds as the frogs of North Toadstool launch an ambitious invasion of Vanity Cloud, a planet ruled by media conglomerates that have enslaved the masses with exorbitant subscription fees. Yet, behind the spectacle of war lies a labyrinth of political conspiracies, shadowy profiteers, and the unexpected rise of a young emo misfit who transforms into a legendary warrior.
The film is currently in the animation production stage. Its completion is planned for early 2026.
The film is inspired by motifs from the song Motorized Frog Squad by the band Moon Unit.
Although initially conceived as a short animated film, this short film is actually part of a larger series project. The ultimate goal is to create an animated series Age of Goyang, based on motifs from Moon Unit's songs from their 2021 album Differences in Language and Lifestyle.

Producers of the world, unite in our Frog Squad! There is no neutral ground! Those who do not march with the Frogs will be swept into the ash-heap of history by the unavoidable force of Frog movement.
The great warriors of the Motorized Frog Squad are on a mission to find distributors who will bring their epic movie to every corner of the known universe.
We are also looking for collaborators and investors for our animated series Age of Goyang.
The Motorized Frog Squad is also the pilot for the animated series Age of Goyang. The series is inspired by the songs of the band Moon Unit from their album Differences in Language and Lifestyle.
The themes the series will address are closely linked to the world we live in and the problems civilization faces, such as the exploitation of labor, war doctrine and political spin, the pursuit of immortality, consumerism, artificial intelligence and robotization, and many others.
As in the film Motorized Frog Squad, the series will address these serious topics in an entertaining way, with a dose of science fiction, satire, and through anthropomorphic characters.
Motorized Frog Squad is supported by the Croatian Audiovisual Centre and the City of Koprivnica.
